Home Thought for the Week November 15, 2009
November 15, 2009

Two and a half months after Sandy's fall and counting. She still has 35 days to go until she is released from the movement restrictions, a time that seems so long to her. Nonetheless, Sandy is making daily progress with the help of physical therapy, able to gradually increase the angle of knee bending.

Shepherd's Refuge guests keep coming and going, being refreshed and strengthened during the time they spend here. The Lord is faithful in meeting their needs, as they come before Him in times of focused prayer and reflection. Outward signs of stress are dissipating and the certain joy returns on their faces.

Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice, and be gracious to me and answer me.  Psalm 27:7
