Many of you were aware that the hosts of Shepherd's Refuge, Ruedi and Sandy, were scheduled to fly to Switzerland to visit with Sandy's dad who is once again in the hospital. Change of plans, and we don't know why this had to happen, but God does! While walking the dogs Sandy twisted her knee, fell and broke her femur neck, requiring total hip replacement surgery scheduled for 10am on Tuesday, September 1. Please join all the friends of Shepherd's Refuge in prayer for a perfect medical procedure and speedy recovery. She is already making plans on how to continue serving our guests with the help of volunteers and board members. Check here for any updates.
